Celebrating the life of
Patrick A. Williams
January 23, 1980 - April 06, 2011
Patrick Ansley Williams, 31, of Savannah, GA moved to a higher realm on April 6, 2011 at his family's home.
A partner in the family "Live Oak Restaurants" group, where he worked hand-in-hand with his Pops, Ansley, Patrick was as sweet as the honey sauce coming out of Spanky's kitchen. His three year journey with cancer cast a canopy of hope and inspiration extending to all those around him and to all those who had the great fortune of reading his Caring Bridge journals. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/patrickwilliams/journal
He was a gentle and beautiful Soul who found his Soul mate, Anna and married her in October of 2010 under the full moon. A shredder of the guitar, a friend, brother and son of great measure, and blessed with the cheeks of a cherub, Patrick is sure to move up a few frequencies in the next life.
His spirit lives on through his wife, Anna Jackson; mother, Patty Williams; father and step-mother, Ansley and Sharon Williams; sister, Chelsea and step-sister, Lauren; cousin, Katie, Aunt June, Uncle Cleve, Aunt Betsy and Aunt Kim, Uncle Bubba and Janet, Uncle Ricky and Aunt Vesta; cousins, Jennifer, Mandy and Graham; loving in-laws, Annie and Jim Gray, Op and Martha Jackson, Sarah and Brad Bodkin; Soul brother, Tripp Turner; the surrogate Strickland family, and endless extended family and friends who were touched by his warm grace. The earth is a better place for Patrick having set foot upon it.
A Celebration of Patrick's life will be held Tuesday April 12th at 11:00 AM at the Forsyth Park Band Shell with a reception following at Tubby's Tank House in Thunderbolt.

I met you briefly on Tybee Island, and you left a great impression. Your happy demeanor and warmth touched my heart, and I often inquired as to how you were doing through my son Scott Jacobs, Tytan Ad Group, Tybee Island. I had dinner with you dad, and his graciousness and warmth also left me with a feeling of belonging to the southern culture. Rest peacefully, Patrick. Ray Jacobs

Words can not express such an incredible loss. Patrick touched the hearts of so many. There are few people in this life that we are graced with that teach us how to be a better person. Patrick happened to be one of those. The warm memories and countless laughs I shared with Patrick will be treasured always. To Patty, Ansley, Sharon, Sweet Chelsea, Lauren, and Anna please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. Thank you for sharing Patrick's contagious smile and gentle spirit.
- Claudia Alexander, Savannah, GA
For my beautiful and courageous son-in-law...I will always be with you. “It is hard to sing of oneness when our world is not complete, when those who once brought wholeness to our life have gone, and naught but a memory can fill the emptiness their passing leaves behind. But memory can tell us only what we were, in company with those we loved: it cannot help us find what each of us, alone, must now become. Yet no one is really alone; those who live no more echo still within our hearts and words, and what they did is part of what we have become.' We do best homage to our dead when we live our lives most fully, even in the shadow of our loss.” Love always
- Annie Taylor Gray Mooshie, Deer Isle, ME
To Patrick's family - Patrick will always be with you. To Chelsea - The closest I ever came to losing a brother was a childhood buddy who joined the Marines because I did. He never came back from Nam. He is with me always. Your words under the band shell were thoughtful. As President of your Fan Club I insist you check in with me. I need to catch up. We need to discuss your run for the Senate and more. Guaranteed free lunch. Give me a call 352-8193.

To the Williams family, Patrick was amazing guy who will be greatly missed. He was one of the more genuine people I have ever met; and this was evident from a young age getting to know him well in Savannah. He always truly cared about what was going on in my life and the lives of others. He was a dear friend and he has departed way too young, but there is no question he made a major impact on myself and many others during his time in this world. I will never forget the many laughs we shared and hilarious stories we lived out together. I hope I have the opportunity to meet Anna in the near future and I hope to see you all soon. My sincerest condolences, David Crowley

Williams Family, I wish there were some magical words I could say to take away your pain. As you all may know my brother battled leukemia and while I can not imagine what you are going through in some small way I am able to empathize. I admire immensely Patrick's fight & zest for life. I admire the graciousness & love that characterizes your family. Chelsea you are such a kind soul & if there is anything at all I can ever do I am here. Anna, I have only been around u a handful of times but you are a lovely person & such a beautiful writer. Several of your updates had me smiling & crying all at once. The one vivid memory I have of Patrick is him standing next to myself, Nolan, Brandon, Chelsea and others at Panic in Atlanta a few years ago. He seemed to get such a kick out of our little group & soaked up every note. I like to think that in heaven not only is there an angel watching over you all but that he will never miss another note. The memory of Patrick and Ansley both dressed in white suits standing at the entrance of the Conch House when it opened is etched upon my mind. I recall thinking to myself at that moment, 'This kid has it all,' but I didn't really know Patrick then. It wasn't until the California wine country trip that I truly got a glimpse of what an amazing, special person he really was, and always will be in our hearts. We can't be selfish and think, 'What a loss,' but rather we have to think, 'What a blessing to have known him.' His journey is over, but his memory and love will ALWAYS remain. As a parent, I cannot fathom the pain. My heart goes out to all of you. Diane

My thoughts and prayers go out the the Williams family. Patrick will be dearly missed by family, friends, and those whose lives he touched. All is Well by Henry Scott-Holland. Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me and if you want to, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.
- Deirdre Forkner, Savannah, GA

It is with a heavy heart that I sign this guestbook. Patrick and the entire Williams family have been in our daily prayers since Pat was diagnosed and will continue to be as time passes. Ansley, you have always been a great mentor to me in this crazy restaurant business and Patrick was a restaurant veteran beyond his years with great knowledge for his young age. I know that he is sadly missed by so many. We can all cherish the good times we had with him and know that there were many and that he will never be forgotten. Ansley, Patti, Sharon, Chelsea and Anna and all of the Williams clan, Please know that you are surrounded by love and we pray that God's grace will bless you with comfort in knowing Patrick is no longer suffering. If there is a band in heaven, he's on the mainstage surrounded by a host of Angel's!

Love always, Ginny
